Re: LA COUNTY TO PAY $1.17 MILLION FOR JAIL BEATING OF VISITOR
Not the same incident. Those indictments came from other incidents involving inmates and the conspiracy involved in covering the incidents up...they just added these in for convience and better headlines. The FBI always is the agency that investigates civil rights violations...those would be charges filed by the Feds when local charges are dropped or the cops are found not guilty...then they get all chicken shit and pull the civil rights thing out of they butts. Not saying the young jail deputies aren't heavy handed...because they traditionally have been, but this current crop are both heavy handed and too stupid not to get caught. Not a good combination. Besides, just because the US Justic Department files charges, doesn't mean they're going to get convictions...it's all politics at the federal level. |

What if it was you getting the shit kicked outta you, pissing blood and getting your teeth smashed out, bet you'd be singing a different tune. You can kill a man but never his ideas! Long live Ernesto "Che" Guevara!! |

Hell yea, dead on. Che was a force to be reckoned with. People feared him. But those were times of revolution, boy, understand. A bunch of pigs teaming up on some dude, that's cowardice, nothing compared with Che.

Re: LA COUNTY TO PAY $1.17 MILLION FOR JAIL BEATING OF VISITOR
Well, to answer your question, I doubt that I would ever put myself in a position to be beat up by several young jail deputies...it's like the train fatality thing...if you don't want to get the shit beat out of you, then don't visit people at the jail, break the law by bring a cell phone, mouth off to said deputies, and then fight back. He got exactly what he deserved. Now, if I did get the shit stomped out of me, the different tune I would sing would be, "We're not gonna take it, no we're not gonna take..." Oh, by the way, Che was a Marxist-Leninist. Since you're such a steadfast supporter, does that mean that you are a Marxists-Leninist as well, or are you just a big fan of his t-shirts? |

I dig Twisted Sister. But no, that's a big misconception. Only reason Che turned to the Soviets, was because U.S. denied him after he overthrew a dictator placed by the States. Che stood for much more than that. And yea I do have a few of his t-shirts with his iconic image. I know Che was against that idea, but the dude is just so gnarly. They used to call him Dr. Sacamuellas, which means Dr. Yankmolars! |

Re: LA COUNTY TO PAY $1.17 MILLION FOR JAIL BEATING OF VISITOR
Yes, of course you've researched Che's life throughly and know that he was half starved, diseased, and abandoned by the Castro brothers when he was captured and executed by a Bolivian Police firing squad lead by CIA Officer Felix Rodriguez. And that during his pre-execution interrogation, he gave his Rolex watch to Officer Rodriguez. Exactly what kind of Communist revolutionary wear a Rolex? So much for socialist theory. At the end of his rather short life, Che, the "people's soldier" had a net worth (in 1960's dollars) of well over one million US dollars. He also owned multiple high end Italian sports cars, a small yacht, and several properties throughout Central and South America and Europe. Yes, he was a great friend of the poor and oppressed people's of the world, as long as he didn't have to socialize with them or touch them. Che was a millionaire communist revolutionary...now that's something to be proud of.
