Re: Jodi Arias Penalty Phase Retrial
Yup. She planned every detail and still went overkill with everything. Stabbing him, shooting him, and slitting his throat. I know the police think the gunshot came last, but I don't know about that. He wasn't a tiny dude , so I don't think she could subdue him with one stab wound - let alone slit his throat first. There's a lot of cases where women kill their significant other after severe abuse, and I'm not sure I could ask for a death sentence on a chick who got the last blow. |

Actually the roommates were there, but they were not that close and never even realised there was anythinh wrong because he was going tobe in Mexico that weekend so they figured he was away. It was some friends who came to see why theg couldn't reach him who found him. The smell didn't alarm anyone though...

Re: Jodi Arias Penalty Phase Retrial
I think Jurors should be only used to find a non-guilty/guilty verdict, and the sentencing be a state mandate, if found guilty. Every state is transparent in their crime versus punishment consequences. And most follow a points system. So it simple, you do the crime, you do the time in accordance to the severity of the written judicial circumstance. If you know you could get fined $30 for spitting on the sidewalk, you better learn to swallow, or prepare to spend $30. |
