That is not what he means. He just means that is why we were attacked, and our "goverment" acted like it was something else. They did not tell us why we were REALLY attacked, which was foreign policy with Israel.  |

Pretty sure the 9-11 investigation clearly states the reasons for the attack. And although I agree statements like they don't like our way of life, or what we stand for are vague reasons that don't explain. They are true statements supporting freedom is what we stand for, and Israel is freedom surrounded by intolerance. And stability in that area is crucial to the worlds stability.

I'm not going to get into my feelings about Israel here. But the point is, right or wrong, American foreign policy favouring Israel was one of the main motivating factors for 9/11. It's even mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. It's up to you, as people, to decide if you think it's worth the risk.

We agree.. Atleast on this statement. Are after all a Christian nation. And have to not only decide if helping them supporting them is worth the risk, but if we don't can we hold our heads high while watching them be slaughtered.

Do you not think it's America's unconditional support for Israel that has made them less secure? Because of America's implicit backing, they've never had to normalise relations with their surrounding neighbours, meaning they live in a constant siege mentality. Of course, most of that siege is of their own imagination - the Palestinians have got as much chance of overthrowing the Knesset as Netanyahu has of visting Mecca.
