Hoping that this uprising takes and spreads to all people oppressed by the Jihadists!

Surprisingly, many posters are closing with "Am Yisrael Chia." This is a recurring voice of thanks, support and solidarity with the people and State of Israel, for which these Iranian citizens share a common level of oppression from the Jihadists.

Israel's decimation of the Iranian military infrastructure and assassination of its commanders is the action that enabled this change and eliminated a major threat to the US and the world. Yes, US helped a lot, but none of this would have happened without Israel's leadership, IMO.

Iran is experiencing widespread anti-government protests that began on December 28, 2025, initially sparked by severe economic hardship—including hyperinflation (over 50%), a collapsing rial currency, and soaring living costs.

These demonstrations started with strikes by shopkeepers in Tehran's Grand Bazaar but quickly evolved into political unrest, spreading to over 27 of Iran's 31 provinces and more than 250-285 locations across dozens of cities.

Protests involve diverse groups: merchants, students, workers, women and ethnic minorities. Slogans include "Death to the Dictator", echoes of the 2022-2023 "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement, and calls for regime change. Some chants support exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and monarchist sentiments.

Security forces have used tear gas, live ammunition, and raids on hospitals to arrest wounded protesters

The government has imposed partial internet disruptions, declared holidays to limit gatherings, and attempted economic concessions (e.g., subsidies), but these have been dismissed as insufficient.

Human rights groups in Iran report 36+ deaths (incl. kids and protesters). Some sources citing up to 40 deaths. Over 1,000-2,000 arrests, incl. minors.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has acknowledged legitimate demands and taken partial blame, while Khamenei distinguishes protesters from rioters and warns of harsh action. Exiled opposition figures like Reza Pahlavi have issued calls for coordinated actions.

Intelligence sources indicate that Khamenei has a contingency escape plan prepared. This plan reportedly involves fleeing to Moscow with a small group of about 20 close associates and family members, incl. his son Mojtaba Khamenei, in the event that security forces defect or fail to contain the unrest.

Iran might be preparing a big strike on Israel as Russia is flying its ambassadors out in a presto manner. It's not very hard to imagine that these protest are being fueled by Israel, alto unlikely to be created by them but rather expanded but them.

I just like how Russia's war has catalyzed the collapse of this modern axis of evil. Turns out overestimating your relevancy and strength and attacking people might get you a slap back that put you in your place.

I can see this spilling over into western nations, there’s already been protests outside of the embassy in London. The majority of people seem to be anti regime but there are some die hard Khamenei loyalists and just Islamists in general who see this revolution as an orchestrated attack by Israel and its allies.

If this video is accurate (posted today), I think the ideas they held may have been different from what they had to profess under the regime.

Supposedly this professor is trying to get them to chant death to usa and death to israel, but the students are all chanting back death to palestine.

I am amazed at how hard these Iranians are going with these riots. That dude torching the motorcade had balls of steel, waging war all by himself.

What was the instigator for all of this? The Iranian economy has been shit for years why are they going so ham now ?
