Narco-trafficking Vessel Gets Hit Killing Two, Injuring One
According to U.S. Southern Command, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a Jan. 23 strike on a vessel operated by designated terrorist organisations along established narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific. Two individuals were killed and one survived, with the U.S. Coast Guard activated for search and rescue following the engagement. MQ-9 Reaper drones, often utilized in counter-narcotics and security operations, typically employ precision-guided munitions like AGM-114 Hellfire missiles to disable vessels. These drones are equipped to engage small, fast-moving targets such as go-fast boats used by narco-traffickers. |

What makes you think it’s not!?! You’re sitting in front of your monitor, seeing those motors on the back, the wake behind the craft, the open cargo full of large bails and one guy standing on the front of the boat while it’s being driven on a known drug route, not to mention the US Rules of engagement!?! Wake up. Nice engagement!! |
