UPDATE: law enforcement has reviewed security tapes and says NO FOUL PLAY suspected in Wal Mart bakery death. Suicide or accident? Faced with a lifetime of working at wal Mart, perhaps the teenager decided to cook herself out of sheer boredom EDIT: information on this incident is very minimal. Some sources say the woman was found after 1 hour by her mother, others say she was there longer. One source said there was no security camera on the oven, but the authorities say no foul play. Several on Reddit and Facebook said the locals consider this a tragic accident, not foul play. Some think Walmart is covering up the accident and destroyed video if it existed. Here is what one poster wrote, "Walmart is so evil at this point it needs to make sacrifices to the devil himself to keep everything running as evily as possible" If it was an accident, the liability could be USA infinite, Several sources said the oven door was broken and couldn't be opened from inside. My theory is she was sleeping in a 90F warm oven on the floor. Another employee pushed a cart of bread in or ran a cleaning cycle, closed the door and didn't realize the woman was there. Sleepy head didn't wake up fast enough, employee walked away and guest Canadian worker slave got cooked like a Thanksgiving turkey with human baking fumes wafting thru the store. |

ANY LOGICAL FOLLOWUP to this case? Everything I've heard so far about it smacks of it being a made up event. NOTHING stated about it makes any sense at all. It all sounds like one of those fantastic, made-up internet stories, that when you check them out, they turn out to be a fable. What actually happened to this chick? Have ANY actual details been released?  |

Hundreds of articles from major news orgs. They mostly agree the woman was missing for hours and was found by her mom cooked in the oven. Police say no foul play, nothing to see here, just your standard cooked low wage employee.

I haven't found ONE article that says she was actually cooked. They say she was found in the oven, but NONE of them say the oven was on, or that she was cooked or baked. Could it have been a heart attack? Or a drug overdose? |

Bakin' potatoes Bakin' in the sun I think the reason it is so hush hush is the incredible horror factor. The authorities think real gore is disturbing to the dumbed down. She was probably sleeping in the warm oven (Canada is cold and no place for Indians) behind a cart of product to hide and somebody shut the door, turned the oven on and walked away. The door mechanism was broken or she couldn't reach it behind a cart. After a few hours the oven started leaking juices, the whole place smelled like fish curry and the the shoppers were told to drop their Chinese made landfill and run away! It's like Upton Sinclair's Jungle except they are now cooking third world slave workers! |
