If you're a person who rarely ever is confrontation, a person who never gets into fights, or acts aggressive towards others. Then it would be very out of character for you to get physical with someone. It might mean you were afraid, or panicked.

But if you are someone who is aggressive, someone who is confrontational, gets into fights alot, runs your mouth alot. It might mean you weren't scared, you wasn't panicked, you was just mad.

And yes, i absolutely look at what a person does in their life. And so does law enforcement.

When you're suspected of a crime, when the detectives bring you in for questioning. The first thing they do is look up your record. Because experience has taught them that if you've robbed a liquor store twice before for instance. And they have reasonable suspicion you have robbed a liquor store. The fact you have done it means you're capable of doing it.

And most crimes, are committed by someone who's committed that same crime before.

Speaking of innocent until proven guilty. The father, was in law enforcement for like 30 years. Has from what I've heard a unblemished record. Been given awards, hasn't even had citizen complaints.

The son was a trained military law enforcement. So both men where in law enforcement. Not just two rednecks in over their heads as the media try to portray them.

Where's their benefit of the doubt? 2 guys who've never been in trouble. "Oh they're calculated murders"

Guy who's been arrested several times, even for breaking into houses. Was filmed in a house he didn't belong in minutes earlier. "Oh, he's just out for a innocent jog and was ambushed for no reason at all".

My point is that information collected about an individuals past is irrelevant. I agree that it’s utilized when examining a case, but in the end does not indicate why people behave the way they do. What is it people say when they catch that serial killer? “ oh he was such a nice man”

I used to think that way. And i know there's always exceptions. But one thing I've learned in life is people don't usually change. They might seem different, they may behave themselves more. But many more times than not, people are who they are.

I get what you're saying, but I disagree that in this case, if this victim has been convicted and arrested on burglary charges before. I think it relevant. I've been following this case, and the comments on the web are insane.

There's literally thousands of people who are saying he was just curious about the floor plan. All these people commenting about the time they went into a home being built to see what it looked like.

And how they could have been shot too.

But they just chose to ignore what's important. Like, when they were looking at this construction, if a neighbor came outside and saw them, maybe even said "hey, what are you doing?" Would they have bolted out the door as fast as they could?

When others in the neighborhood came out, yelling "stop, we called the police, what are you doing over here?" Would you keep running? Would you just automatically be afraid they were going to kill you?

Or before all this "jogging", would you just walk out and say "I'm just having a look at the new house, I'm sorry if i scared anyone.," And be on your way.


Point is, you don't just take the past and come to a conclusion. You take all the information, like how the person responded to the situation, did they act guilty?
