If Trump is really trying to kill terrorism, can someone explain why he has just given the biggest state sponsor of terrorism the biggest arms deal in history. Many moons ago the US and various other five eyes nations did a deal with the Saudis. We take their oil, they take our technology and weapons. But we never interfere with their religion. So in short why has Trump given them the biggest arms deal in history....money talks.

This is particularly disturbing when you consider Saudis follow wahhabism. It is cruel, barbaric and is likely responsible for the spread of fundamentalist islam around the Arab world.

Yes, I think I can answer that realistically. First, the biggest state sponsor of terrorism is Iran. Not SA. The arms deal is the art of the deal. It was a genius move by Trump. Keep in mind, it is defensive in nature, not offensive.

Currently, we are SA'S security force for the most part. We protect them and watch over them like a mother. Guess who pays the costs? Us! We risk our own soldiers lives by keeping them in the area.

So, long story short, we went from paying billions out of our pockets, to getting the Saudi's to pay us billions and use their own soldiers now, to protect themselves. This is staying well within his campaign promise of getting other countries to foot the bill on their own defense.

People are really letting their emotions run away with them on this one. It was a stroke of genius. So genius, that almost no one even gets it. Lol! Now, our country will turn from losing billions, to making billions from them and adding jobs here to make the weapons.

Kushner got on the phone in front of some of the Saudi representatives and negotiated a far better deal on the weapons than the Saudi's originally thought they were going to have pay. So, they were excited about that.

It was so genius, that even the Saudi's didn't realize what happened to them, as they thanked Trump for such a great deal on the weapons. Is that a more realistic answer to your question? Lol!
