Had to chime on here. Doesn't matter if ONE jury member supports BLM. That's like saying a supporter of the ADA can't sit on a trial where a disabled person was killed. So long as you follow the laws and guidelines for conviction, and there's no demonstrated bias, you're allowed to support an organization. Let's also remember every jury member undergoes a background check to ensure there's no conflict. Most importantly, one person doesn't decide the verdict. It must be a UNANIMOUS decision by all jury members.

it does matter. it impacts their impartiality. just like how a felon cant be on a jury, not because of the felony, but because they cannot be considered impartial having been thru the criminal justice system themselves.
