I have been keeping a close eye on this to see what the story plays out. It has been awhile for sure Phobophile. I just want to see how many bodies he tallies up before the inevitable.

WTH are you talkin about, serial killers never went away and new ones are being made as we speak. We have as many as 1 serial killer for every state that are curently active and god knows how many inactives like BTK that simply stopped because the urge went away or they had a family to raise. They're still out there! They'll never be caught either

Serial killers are fascinating and all, but the chances of being murdered by one is so astronomically small. Otherwise it would be a neat way to do suicide!

I agree 110%! I was just making the case that there are plenty still out there and serial killers don't just go out of style. You stand a far better chance of dying in an auto accident then by some creep lying in wait to attack & rape you but TV sensationalizes stuff that scares humans.

On May 9, 2011, authorities reported that two of the newest sets of remains may be the work of a second killer. In fact, investigators now believe that three or four different murderers may be responsible for bodies found recently along the Long Island coastline. According to Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota, "It is clear that the area in and around Gilgo Beach has been used to discard human remains for some period of time." |
