A friend of mine did a similarly disgusting thing many years ago, growled out some local 'bag lady' in the back of his car one drunken night. She honestly was awful, smelled like a wet dog, dirty, horrible woman.

Afterwards he felt so guilty and embarrassed and disgusted that he overdosed on asthma medication. He recovered, but refused to tell the hospital why he had done it.

Later he whispered it to me in strictest confidence, so of course I told the whole pub.

I don't know why old people smell.

Could be that they stop showering and bathing due to the danger of falling, but, that washing with a wet rag only goes so far, especially in the heat!

I already told one of my nieces to kill me if I become a grouchy old lady. I'll have to add the smell part, lol!

that piss smell? always smelled it when i worked at a pharmacy.. used to hold my breath most of the time when i had an elderly customer. felt bad for the nice old ladies.

More of a rotten food smell or something. I don't know. Their houses stink, too. I always referred to it as, "old lady smell".

Could be old urine, I guess. I never smelled that in person.

yea it has to be piss.. sometimes soaked in clothes they didnt wash or even in their diapers. they probably go thru the whole day wearing 1 diaper.
