Re: Cat Survives After Being Shot 19 Times
Honestly, I think anyone caught being cruel to cats, dogs, or any other animal for that matter should be punished as though they were harming a human. As far as I know it is a fact that a lot of serial killers were known to abuse/kill animals. I think I heard once that Jeffrey Dahmer was cruel to animals...

Re: Cat Survives After Being Shot 19 Times
this is my first time into this section and this post caught my eye immediately. it's comforting to see that there are numerous cat lovers here. personally, i believe cats should be kept inside for various reasons, one of them being assholes like the one in the article. (other reasons include but not limited to: vicious dogs, vehicles, poisons, traps). my 4 cats stay indoors 24/7. regardless of what the cat may have done to piss the guy off enough to shoot it (assuming it wasn't done just for target practice or whatever) the guy should have taken the issue up with the cats owner. the cat doesn't understand its doing wrong when it shits in someones garden or gets in their trash. i checked into the article and it apparently happened in indiana where animal cruelty is a felony. (sadly enough, there still are states where animal cruelty is a misdemeanor). i certainly hope he is charged and convicted of animal cruelty and has to do some time. what an asshole! |
