What's the whole story?
Was the cat on the guy's property? I hate it when people let their cats run wild. If you don't want the cat to live inside then why have a cat in the first place? Domestic cats are not meant to be kept outside they aren't dogs. Let kitty be inside in the warm cozy house. If the cat was on his yard and was shot then it is the owner's fault for not watching her pussy.

First, cats survive extremely well outside, better than dogs. They're natural hunters, they adapt well to the climate changes, and they're asocial by nature (meaning, they're independent). The thing is, even if a cat is let outside a lot, as we do ours, so what if he or she gets into someone else's yard? Big deal. Our cat is into everyone's backyard, and no one complains. They, in fact, love to pet her.

Here's the thing: cats don't dig into the trash like dogs, they don't rip and tear lawn furniture and the likes, they don't bark, and they don't bite. They might take a shit here and there, but least they cover it up.
