And its true, we have been replacing god with 'science' for the last 500 years or so, and look how well it has turned out for us.
There were times when your gods lived on top of the highest mountains, then came 'science' and replaced them with boring dull knowledge. Would you like to revert back to our ignorant past and put god back into mountain tops.

Science can 'tell' us how to make a blade, but it wont tell us if we should slit someone´s throat, or us it to slice bread at breakfast.

It can 'tell' us how to split the atom, but it wont tell us if we should split the atoms at the center of a city, in an uncontrolled manner, or harness its power to light up millions of homes.

its as good as saying
"believing things with no evidence, against all evidence, with no reason and against all reason, is just as good as believing things for the best of our knowledge and evidence available.

I believe that where you live, people really are self absorbed assholes, but then again, you live in USA, and are surrounded with majority of "god fearing" christians. Which makes me wonder why does USA have one of the highest prison populations with least of Atheist %.

Your cult does a very bad job at scaring people into submission. Again, look at atheistic countries, and you'll see that most of the societal ill stats are lower than those with high religion %.

countries like Finland, Sweden, Norway, send tonns of aid to foreign countries with no church "requirements" attached.
Most churches on the other hand, donate stuff with the requirement of "joining the cult" or at lest you must go through the standard programming & indoctrination period.

We already have too many things dividing us. Nationality, languages, races, $$$, etc etc.
We dont need yet another very divisive and exclusive power to make getting along even more complicated.

What about offending people that know there is a God and believe in Him? Don't they have rights also? She doesn't know her ear from her elbow and has little to zero real knowledge of anything except her cell phone and facebook. This country was founded on God's word.
