Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
It was a Wal-Mart truck that rear ended the van Tracy Morgan was in. It's being said the Wal-Mart driver failed to notice traffic had slowed and he tried to swerve but ended up hitting the van anyway.

Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
I notice truckers fucking up left and right every day I'm on the road. The most common offense is tailgating/following too closely. LADOTD has for the last few months been widening I-12 between Baton Rouge and Livingston here in Louisiana, and put up T-barriers on the medians to border the lane shifts that they had to set up. Naturally, the shoulders through these work zones are narrow, and steep ditches border the outside lanes. I must have seen at least 3 trucks a week on their sides in those ditches before additional signs were put up and State Troopers were posted at the start of each work zone. And it's not as if any of the work zones are that hard to navigate, or difficult to see coming even at night. The fault lies squarely with a bunch of dumbass unprofessional rig jockeys who should have had their CDLs revoked long ago. I'm personally of the opinion that the kind of negligence that results in those kind of completely avoidable fuck-ups should result in a mandatory 1-year suspension of one's Class A license. If they don't want to act like the professionals that they're supposed to be, then they should be bent over and spanked like the fucking overgrown children that they are until they learn how to conduct themselves on the road; because I for one am tired of losing hours of my life in gridlock because of someone else's dumbass fucking negligence. |

Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
Oh, and the last thing any truck should be doing is swerving into an adjacent lane to avoid slow or stopped traffic. If the median is open, you ditch it there and hope for the best. Otherwise, you just have to slam on your brakes, keep your rig straight, and hope you kill the minimum amount of people. Even after earning commercial licenses, people remain completely fucking ignorant of the physics of what they do for a living. Pay attention and don't fucking tailgate, or find a new line of work before someone else winds up payng for your stupidity with their life. |

Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
I hate driving on the expressway. Fucking trucks on I94 are ridiculous. I will drive 20 miles out of my way to avoid using that stretch of the road. Not to mention, when on there all I see are dead DR bodies flashing in front of my eyes...now, knowing WHAT damage a truck can do to one in an accident, I'm more paranoid. |

Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
it doesnt have to be that way but thats the social norm currently.....to fetishize the lives of celebrities, treat them like gods, act shocked when they are revealed to be mortal after all and propagate the false idea that celebrity life is more valuable that yours or mine. its disgusting (imho) and breaks my heart, honestly. humanity can do so much better.... |

Re: Actor Tracy Morgan in Critical Condition After 6-vehicle Accident
You got it slightly wrong. The large majority of people don'tcrevere celebrities; they envy and despise them, and wait with bated breath for them to fuck up or meet unfortunate fates.
