Re: Woman Trapped in Floodwaters Drowns As 911 Dispatcher Scolds Her
This happened in the state next to me. What makes me so angry is that she never helped her or tried to. All cars headrest come off so you can break your window incase you're in water. I know she can't swim but every human being can float. She couldn't done several things to get her out of a car getting filled with water. This makes me so mad every time I hear it. This poor woman. I wish i could've helped her.

This makes me so mad. So mad. She had plenty of opportunities to have her break her window before it got too high. This would have allowed her to scream and act as an escape if needed. I don't understand. |

https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obit...tevens-8856409 Her mother died 2 weeks later. Creepy that Debbie's dog is mentioned as being like her child in her obituary... but then in her mother's obituary, it says Debbie's dog went with her to be with the lord. Was the dog with her?? |

If she's in the car and its sinking why couldn't she unclip her seatbelt and get out the window... onto the roof? She couldn't help herself!? These parents of today dont raise their kids to be respectful or self efficient and that pisses me off. Teach your child to survive, no matter what. Teach them. Don't beat them. Teach them!! |

Why did she drive into a water logged road, in the first place? She said she didn't see it, it's her usual route and that's normal for her. She just followed her routine. Shame man. That's awful. You know when it's your time when you're friggin 'STUPID!' - don't be stupid in future. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT! (I feel sorry for people like this, they don't know how to swim?) Everybody needs to learn how to swim. That's a mother and fathers duty. Poor woman. |

Re: Woman Trapped in Floodwaters Drowns As 911 Dispatcher Scolds Her
Dumbass, she said that her normal route was flooded so she took an alternate route that she was unfamiliar with. At 4 something in the morning visibility is low. She made an honest mistake and was unaware of her surroundings due to the deviation. I could easily see how this could have happened. Freak accident for sure. You're just as shitty as that dispatcher. In Kansas we have flash floods from time to time.. roads that don't flood suddenly become over swept with water. In my hometown I can vividly remember a teenage girl that hydroplained off the road. It happened to be at a culvert, and her vehicle went into the culvert, pinning her. She couldn't have opened her doors or broken a window if she wanted to. Literally pinned. It's heartbreaking that the last person this woman spoke with was a cold hearted bitch. And btw, fuck you. |

She should have had her roll her windows down while he had power. Dues to the design of car windows, they are nearly impossible to break underwater until the pressure has equalized. Nearly impossible to break from the inside under normal circumstances. The design of the glass makes it incredibly tough when fully rolled up, even slightly cracked increases your chances of breaking it by over 85%. I’d have liked to see the look on her face when they told her the person who called you for help is dead because of your negligence. |
