These are audio recordings from the hostage negotiation between Omar Mateen and the Orlando Police Department. Omar pledges allegiance to the Islamic State as well as calls for the bombings in the Middle East to cease.

Mateen shot and killed 49 people that night, and was later shot to death by police. Transcripts of the negotiations are also included in PDF format.

For a martyr, he doesn't say much and when he does I can't make it out since he is a mumbler and yet I haven't much interest in the transcripts. Is he shooting people while the phone goes unanswered? Also, I'm fairly neutral on homosexuality because it's so smarmy I just don't want to go there but how is unloading on a gay club punishing the US much less any country? They are almost always everyone's favorite target, right? It's not right but did he help his cause? No one has taken him seriously as far as I can tell. Just another radical Muslim nut especially since he was never going to make it out alive-especially by his own hand. Thoughts? Of course, that's what martyrs do. So why was he here? Living in our relatively peaceful country-at least we don't have bombed-out cities here-excluding Chicago and parts of Ohio of course. He was too young to be Al-Quida and still too young to be fully ISIS. He would have been more effective in his country as a team member instead of isolated here and leaving his wife and baby behind. IQ approximately=1. He doesn't even know why he does anything except for what CNN tells him he should do. Even worse it was all for nothing. In the USA mass shootings-Nah-you gotta do better than that if you want our attention. We are pretty toughened up. He should change the channel. I wish I could make sense of all this horror.
