The body on the ground next to the red cart is her. The explosion blew her that direction. She might be alive, but if she is she has some bad burns. Looks like fireworks from all the paper shreds. In the orient they still sell 'torpedoes' which are rocks mixed with gunpowder in a little wad, you throw them hard and they blow up like a cherry bomb. I had a friend in school who lived in Jakarta for a few years, he brought some back for us in Chicago. He is the guy shooting the M60 from the helicopter door in the movie Bat*21 with typical overacting by Danny Glover and Gene Hackman. He picked me up one day in high school to see Ratt and Blue Oyster Cult in concert, I had no interest but went for fun. Next time I saw him he was in that silly assed movie, they needed white extras and spotted him in some steamy dump in Asia. |
