If this is China, you don't want to stop and help. You become responsible for what happens, even if you stopped to help. They don't have a "Good Samaritan" law like we have in the west. It's best to stay away, and not become involved. That attitude is changing slowly.

That crossing looks like a death trap anyway, I don't see any stop-signs for the drivers on the right and its not a highway either due to lack of auxiliary lane on the right and the plain crossing on the left (with no stop signs either). Accident waiting to happen, really. Chinese road design in action.
