If this is China, you don't want to stop and help. You become responsible for what happens, even if you stopped to help. They don't have a "Good Samaritan" law like we have in the west. It's best to stay away, and not become involved. That attitude is changing slowly.

They are all at fault. The car entering didn’t yield. The truck went into the next lane to avoid the idiot car. And the accident vehicle driver didn’t even try to not over do it. |

When truck swerved into the cars lane to avoid the idiot who didn't yield, all the cutoff driver had to do was brake to avoid all this.

Yeaaaa...almost seemed like the car was aiming for the truck. He had days of time to brake and re-enter his own lane

That crossing looks like a death trap anyway, I don't see any stop-signs for the drivers on the right and its not a highway either due to lack of auxiliary lane on the right and the plain crossing on the left (with no stop signs either). Accident waiting to happen, really. Chinese road design in action.

The yield sign is most likely a bit further from what we see of that entrance lane. You want drivers to ready themselves, knowing they need to slow down and proceed with caution, at a safe distance. |
