Hear all the Spanish being spoken. If I didn't know better, I'd assume this happened down in Latin America. But NJ is supposed to have the highest population of Hispanics, out of all states that do not share a border with Mexico.

What’s the problem with that? Immigrant communities exist every where. Teaneck Hasidic Jews Passaic/Paterson Spanish Garfield/Lodi Eastern European Fort Lee Korean Jersey City Indian Newark Muslim I have not been back to NJ in a long while, but these towns I listed are just ones I was familiar with in re to large pop immigrant communities. |

I can’t! There was a time, from elementary to high school, we were encouraged to learn 2nd or 3rd languages. We lived in a wealthy NJ town, majority white. During my childhood, our schools always participated in multi cultural events. No one, parents, kids, teachers, were bitching and moaning about it. But nowadays. Durr Durr Derp Derp. Scary communities of brown people. Yet no one bitches about the Eastern European communities, certainAsian communities, Jewish communities. GOH with that fake outrage. |
