I just do not understand all the videos of people getting "stuck" on the tracks (between gates) and seeming being scared of the gate more then the train.  is wrong with people? If I missed the signal that told me a train was coming and the gates closed around me, I WOULD SMASH THOUGH THEM. But then again, I seem to think with logic. I would hope I would never miss the signals though.
