Re: 3 Dead, 17 Injured when Passenger Train Destroys a Semi
Czech Republic: 8.5 years in prison for the Polish driver guilty disaster Pendolino. 50-year-old Polish driver Slawomir Sondaj that in July last year caused the crash of the Czech passenger train Pendolino, entering lorry on a level crossing at a red light, was sentenced to eight and a half years in prison. Convicted claimed that the security pass did not work properly. - It introduced me to a mistake and I could not concentrate. Dams have been raised and this meant for me that I can go - he said in court. |

Re: 3 Dead, 17 Injured when Passenger Train Destroys a Semi
You stupid stupid shit. Interestingly enough, California has incredibly harsh trainwrecking statutes. In this case, if they could prove (for example) that the truck driver intended to block the tracks and get hit by the train, he could actually face the death penalty. (If they still did that in Cali.) In short, too bad this fucker won't face that. |

So yes, the barriers were up. But then they came down whilst on the tracks. "He could not concentrate?" What the hell does that mean? He didn't know his big-ass truck could easily push the far barriers away so he could clear the tracks? Idiot...
