If he would have added some extra restraints like a 5 point harness it's possible he could have still been alive today. Instead, due to lack of safety, his body lurches out of the cockpit right into the spinning blade.

Huh, so he could've actually survived if he would've had any actual safety measures in the cockpit, like a seatbelt and wider walls. The broken blade doesn't actually go inside the cockpit, the guy gets half-thrown out and then his head meets the broken blade outside.
