Young Argentinian Man Is Shot Dead During Robbery
Alderetes, Tucumán, Argentina A 21-year-old man, Joaquín I., was shot in the head and killed during a robbery. Two adolescents, aged 16 and 17, were arrested in connection with the crime. CCTV video showed that Joaquín did not resist the attack, which took place during the early hours of the morning. Despite this, one of the assailants shot him at point-blank range. At a preliminary hearing, the presiding judge granted the prosecution’s request and ordered that the accused be held at the Roca Institute for a period of four months, while the case proceeds. However, a defence attorney alleged that the suspects had been beaten and threatened by police officers during their transfer. For this reason, she requested that the arrest be declared unlawful, a motion supported by an assistant from the Office for the Defence of Children and Adolescents. |

So the kids were beaten a little by the cops transferring them to jail. Good. They should’ve been beaten to death for their crime. People defending to kids who murdered a young man who threw his arms up. |

That would piss me off. In the US you are protected from that behavior. Miranda calls for an officer to immediately advise a suspect of their rights once an arrest is made. Beating prisoners for what? Good solid investigative techniques do not need confessions. Yet many officers need that to supplement the lack of good investigative work, What happens in the US if it is deemed you violated a suspects rights, is ALL evidence garnered from that point on is inadmissible in court. Many times the violation is soon after arrest which virtually eliminates all evidence. |

looked unintentional. that doesn't diminish from the fact that the perpetrators should be slowly electrocuted over the course of three(3) days, the final day culminating in death. |

I agree. I think he went to pistol whip him and the gun went off. No trigger discipline.

It doesn't look point blank to me. Looks like an accidental discharge from a pistol-whip. Which doesn't make it lesser or justifiable. |
