Re: ~Woman Trying To Lift Heavy Weights Crushed To Death~
So many fucking things wrong with this shit! That woman should never have been allowed to lift such a weight. Also, where the fuck were the people standing either side of her to take the weight if needed? Her child should not have been there either; now she'll be traumatised for life.

Re: ~Woman Trying To Lift Heavy Weights Crushed To Death~
I have early onset degenerative discs in my cervical spine, so I know the affects it has on you pretty damn well. The irony though is that the nerves responsible for controlling your arms stem out from that region of your spine: even if she had superhuman strength to lift that shit back up, her nervous system would have been compromised preventing her from using her arms. |

Re: ~Woman Trying To Lift Heavy Weights Crushed To Death~
I think she was choking on her blood as soon as they got her free. He turned her to the side to help her breathe though I don't think it helps because her blood vessels were likely severed so blood wasnt getting to her brain. A lot of blood was pooling around her head at the end. I imagine this is like being executed with a blunt guillotine. |

Re: ~Woman Trying To Lift Heavy Weights Crushed To Death~
Was she attempting this standing over a bench? One thing that could have saved her. When I first switched from machines to free weights, I had a near death newb 3xperience. I put locks on the bar, holding the plates on. I couldn't lift anymore at a point, and with the locks on, I couldn't free myself from being pinned by tilting the bar, sliding the plates off. Needless to say, I was rescued after a minute, by some dudes that didn't tease or make me feel bad. What really gets me, to this day, is my thoughts at the time. I wasn't panicking, everything was turning black, I couldn't hear anything, but I was thinking " well hmm, I guess that's how I went. Not so bad." |
