Peru. O.H.S, 23 was murdered and brutally dismembered by her cousin, J.H.H. Residents discovered human remains in a vacant lot last Friday. Later, other body parts were found in the area. Forensic tests confirmed that all the remains belonged to her.

The young woman was strangled, her throat slit, and then dismembered into three parts using a box cutter and a saw.

Thanks to testimonies from close friends, the police were able to identify the victim's cousin as the prime suspect. He was captured and during his arrest he had scratches on his face and chest and was in possession of the victim's cell phone. He eventually confessed to the crime.

According to his statement, the incident occurred on the night of April 16. He invited her to his room with the intention of having sex. When she refused, he attacked her until she was dead and then proceeded to dismember her.

Hundreds of neighbors gathered outside the accused's home demanding justice.

Some attempted to enter and attack him. However, the police dispersed the crowd with tear gas, but material damage was reported, including the burning of two police motorcycles and damage to the detainee's home.
