Umm...I think they are conflating two stories. I am going to give some references so you can check them out, but THIS IS NOT PREACHING. So don't flame me. 1. Where Jesus told Peter that He could have the Father send down a legion of angels to prevent His arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:53). 2. An obscure passage in Jude that mentions that Satan and the archangel Michael had a dispute about Moses' body (Jude 1:9). But no one seems to have a good explanation for that one, since apparently God buried Moses (Deuteronomy 34:5-4). So Michael ends by saying, "The LORD rebuke thee." I mean, my guess is as good as yours. That's all I got. |
