I always thought agonal breathing meant you were gone. Basically just brain stem activity trying to do what it should. But the diaphragm isn't moving, no air is being drawn into the lungs. I don't think it's like gasping for air.
Seems to me the worst thing you can do if you run someone over is to brake!!! I browse the Figure 1 app, and yesterday on there was a 50 year old dude who fell out of his own car whilst reversing. The wheel went right over his abdomen and spine and he walked out of hospital that night with no injuries!
Obviously a dump truck is a different story, but at least people wouldn't be turned into fucking sandwich spread for their loved ones
I agree...and that enormous wheel was right on her back...yes no lung function there.
I feel had he rolled back...well there ya go
Does anyone know if you're conscious at all when you're in that state?
I worked as a vet tech several years.. Mostly the animals weren't aware or conscious when they got to this point. At least I hope not because no matter how hard you are it's tough to see this.
Re: Woman Agonal Breathing Laying Pinned Under the Wheels of a Dump Truck
according to wikipedia: Agonal breathing is also known as gasping for breath. It is a sign that the body is not receiving the oxygen it needs. It most often occurs when a person is actively dying.
