Its weird how other than the frozen position people look sort of normal when they die in extreme cold even if they are there for a very long time. I mean I get the science behind it I jist mean it looks like he could just stand up and be fine.

I loved the first season of ice road truckers on history channel that was nuts what they were and still doing driving big rigs on the frozen ice to make a living

Yes used to watch it, Hugh sitting lifting a little dumbbell, before the trucks were allowed on it, they inspected it in an SUV full of polystyrene, just in case it fell through the ice

Yes hugh was a working machine with all the trips he took up and down the ice and that other guy alex the older ones still love going back and watching it over and over it's definitely a classic take care

I remember on the History channel show "Ice Road Truckers" they explained why it's dangerous to drive too fast on the ice road. Once you get over a certain speed it creates a bow wave in front of the truck in the water under the ice, and that deformation is what breaks the ice. Slow and steady is the way.

It seems like the guy behind the camera (or nearby) knew and predicted this because he lets out that big "oooonoooooo!" sound seeing how fast the driver was going. Anyway, this is interesting frozen water physics. You'd think it'd be the opposite and the faster the better, but oooonoooooo

I was commercial diver many years ago and did a number of body recoveries. It was never fun.
