People get mad as hell when their governments promise to protect citizens, over and over again during their faux elections. Why should the citizens believe these millionaire bluffing politicians? Chaos is spreading like wildfire.

Depends on what one regards as "serious theft"..... Stealing a loaf of bread to feed a hungry family? Does that deserve "mob justice"? I understand your point of view though and I appreciate that the the theft of anything in some parts of the world is regarded as a very serious crime. Different people different countries different punishments.

Humans need law and order otherwise society would be in utter chaos and anarchy. However even without government law and order some people would still emerge as leaders and would in turn evoke their own "justice system". Just interests me from a societal point of view

I agree this is way "overkill" for just stealing. But in this case the mob believes these 2 men robbed and then killed the business owner. Maybe that makes it more justifiable.

In my first post I did agree that in this case it was probably justifiable as they did murder an innocent man

If there is absolute undeniable proof that the crimes were committed against innocent citizens, then mob justice seems pretty reasonable.

If publicly blaming, circumstance, and hearsay are the only implications directing the mobs reasoning behind carrying out mob justice, then that's some fucked up shit

it allways cracks mee up when someone commits a cold blooded murder,then screams in pain or fear like in this case,when someone beats someone up out of hate or just being a bully,then when caught begs for forgiveness ,or claims they shouldnt be punished because they have more money or standing in the community...
