Re: Vietnam - Young Man Jumps from Balcony to His Death, in Front of His Father
The 2nd photo down is a FB translation of the letter. It won't be completely accurate, but should give you the gist.

Re: Vietnam - Young Man Jumps from Balcony to His Death, in Front of His Father
My brother in law died just like this. He was schizophrenic, and was on heavy meds. He couldn’t deal with the side effects, and stopped taking them. One day just jumped off a family friend’s balcony. Which could have happened on or off meds, I guess. His dad was there, so I can only imagine a similar scene. Whether this guy was justified in offing himself or not, hearing the parents’ despair in this video was pretty heartbreaking, ngl. |

Re: Vietnam - Young Man Jumps from Balcony to His Death, in Front of His Father
~ Parents who bully their kids. ~ It always wants to happen when parents just don't get it, that kids have to have a life of their own, & not just one that meets up to their parent's expectations for a lifetime. In this case for a limited lifetime. ~ The letter just says that since the son could never meet up to his father's expectations as his son, then he might as well not be his son. |
