Dunno if this has been posted here, but I'll basically say the same thing I said in the other thread about this elsewhere on ths forum : walking down a dirt track at night, a dimly lit one at that, wearing a black racing suit, a black helmet and what seems like a black hans device, at the outside exit of a turn... how can something NOT go wrong?

The guy was making a pass on the outside, and the 14 car drifted outside and clipped his car..total accident..Stewart did not crash him.
Tough guy got out and ran out there where they are speeding by at 100MPH+ and got killed. His fault. Hw was a good racer with bad judgment.

The mainstream media analysis of what happened here bizarre. Accidents like this as far as what occurred during the race is very common in sprint car racing. These cars running on dirt are setup to handle properly under the weight transfer of being on the throttle. Plus there's 20 or more cars on the track. Its takes a good lap n a half for everyone to safely come to an idle speed(these cars are direct drive-no clutch or transmission). So for this guy to leave the safety of his car before everyone slowed down enough for a safety crew to come out is on him. You want to lip off, scream and holler and throw your helmet once the wrecker is out there im all for it. He disregarded his own safety to be a tough guy. Im no fan of Stewart but he's not liable for this guys death.

If you watch closely and listen you can see and hear Tony blip the throttle right before impact. That's enough for me. Guilty.

Shakey, for all we know, the throttle blip could've come from any other car on the track. A video can focus on an image, not on sound. The sound likely came from the car closest to the camera's microphone.

And even if it DID came from Stewart's car, it could easily be explained as Stewart trying to induce a spin to avoid the guy, not kill him.
