The sources used are cited on the entry page. Search crime rates and gun ownership by country. You'll get the same information. You're dismissing the information out-of-hand and trying to cast doubt on a reliable source because the minimization of your own cognitive dissonance is more important to you than the truth. Because you're a brainwashed sheep.

And that's all fine and good. I know that our countries get along diplomatically. But why are you so quick to point that out now, yet had no problem making sweeping un/misinformed generalizations about Americans in your initial comments? My guess is, you're backpedaling and misdirecting.

Anyway, my point is that one person with a gun can, like the shooter in Vegas or any other mass shooter, kill a lot of people. The average body count of indiscriminate mass shootings in recent history is around 20. In Australia, there are 15 guns for every 100 people (and that's a low estimate; it could be as high as 24 per 100). So despite Australia's gun restrictions, there are still enough firearms in your country to make such mass shootings like Port Arthur a possibility. Yet Australia's low rate of mass shootings despite that rate of gun ownership would suggest to anyone with a brain that those inanimate objects of which you're evidently so terrified are not in and of themselves the root cause of such violence, and that simply owning a gun (or several) does not automatically make someone a violent criminal or mass murderer.

Think about that the next time you feel the need to vent out of your ass about a country about which you don't actually know shit.

Re: Vegas Shooting Video

Actually Chump after visiting your country 6 times I dare say I’d know more about your home than you would know mine.
As for back peddling on the contrary I’m still waiting for you to come out with a mass shooting since Port Arthur.

Frankly if you are the average yank who carnt get it through their thick heads that the problem is the availability to automatic weapons when a princess is having a bad day and wants to have a tanty by firing off into a crowd then you get what is currently happening.

As for being brainwashed..... it is you and your ilk that defends stupidity whilst your country man fall!

Re: Vegas Shooting Video

Here's an idea...

If you're not an American, quit worrying about what we do. Just tend to your own knitting.

P.S. We are the youngest country on the planet and yet we are the worlds leading super-power so we must be doing something right and yes, if your country is attacked, I'm sure we will come to your rescue...again.
I half agree with this sentiment. Yes some non Americans worry a little too much over a country they're not a part of, and since they don't really know what it's like to be an American they don't know "the full story"

But that doesn't mean non Americans can't put America under scrutiny. Considering it's the planets sole superpower, it's influence is global and makes the world go round.

Just how the president is the leader of the free world, held to the highest standard and under the heavies scrutiny, so should the country he leads.

So I guess it's just a case by case basis. If you're going to talk shit and not talk shit just to talk shit, then have a point.

Well you still have plenty of mass shootings since Port Arthur. Not hard to find an objective source for that information. Australians always think too highly of themselves, as perfect and flawless.....

Re: Vegas Shooting Video

...... i also happen to agree Fredy with much of what CERT....had to say unlike the other gibberer . Lets face it nobody likes to hear critism of their country from afar. Oz aint perfect , we got our stupidity as well. The problem is what goes wrong and right in yank land gets reported big time here. Its because of our bond over the years .

If this site was called Documenting Dumb Arse Climate crap and the gibberer wanted to have a crack at me over it then id cop his shit.

However its not .....it deals in death , the murder, the accident and the stupidity. Now from my point of view any fuckwhit with buggerall ability can fire a semi with unlimited rounds until the magazine is exhausted before the retard shoves another one in and off he goes again.

There is no skill in that. Its a wank. 48 DEAD .....500 injured. Of that 500 scarred for life with horrendous injuries......and that retard did this in under 10 minutes?

.....and why so much carnage......it was semi automatics modified.....

So the question is......if this loopy loser retard had just a standard hand or shotgun how many would have died or injured?

Re: Vegas Shooting Video

Well show me ......
Well usually I don’t argue with idiots but just to name a few; Monash Univ, Hectorville and the Logan family shootings. Or are those “made up” ?

Monash University shooting:

Hectorville Siege
http://www.smh.com.au//breaking-news...429-1e08g.html

Etc etc....

Of course the occurrence and death toll is by far lower than in The US but you are not free from shootings.
