In many cases, they void the bladder in fear or shock just from being shot, injured, or attacked, so it isn't always a sure sign of a death. But in this case, indeed, between the bladder void, the total lack of responsiveness, and the blood pumping out of her head, resuscitation is likely a futile effort. I understand the impulse to try, however. Side note, having revisited this case and the investigation around it a few months later now, it was determined that this girl likely wasn't even the intended target. The actual confrontation and altercation that led to the gunfight was very far from her table and she was not involved with it in any way. She was allegedly just sitting and talking with her friends halfway across the room when the bullet from one of the two guys fighting hit her in the head. Bad luck. With a stacked deck by being in a bad place at the wrong time. |
