Re: Usa - Security Guard Shot Man Who Pulled Gun
The very first shotgun blast at 29 seconds shattered his leg, it's pretty subtle but you can tell that the fibula and or tibia are no longer one piece, when he tries to push himself further out the door his leg is a lil floppy lol

Re: Usa - Security Guard Shot Man Who Pulled Gun
Lol did you miss the fact that the dude literally returned fire while he was on the ground, before the security guard even finished his mag dump, and then pointed his pistol at the guard again after getting hit with a shotgun round to the leg? The dude was a tank. Also, in the moment you aren't in the same mindset as you are right now sitting in a computer chair staring at the screen, imagine you just got shot in the leg by some dude who you just mag dumped, who is still casually speaking, and pointing his weapon at you, you're not going to in a split second go "oh he only shot me once, he's probably done now, I'll let my guard down" Hell no, this is a perfect example of why once you escalate to this point, you don't give second chances. |

Re: Usa - Security Guard Shot Man Who Pulled Gun
Hmm, why did the security guard draw his firearm in the first place? Where was the life threatening event? The deceased only pulled his firearm after he was drawn on and never even pointed the gun at the guard. Looks like 2nd degree murder to me.

Re: Usa - Security Guard Shot Man Who Pulled Gun
Exactly what I was thinking, when the guard started shooting the guy had his arm down, in that position the guard had reaction time if the perp tried to raise his arm to shoot back at him. Once the perp was down, he should have stopped shooting but he kept shooting after the guy was down and then resorted to the shotgun, that is overkill and difficult to justify before a non-biased/non-corrupt jury. He is a security guard ("agent" on his vest) not a policeman, so the law will apply different to him than if he was a real cop with qualified immunity, at least I hope so, the guard went beyond self defense IMHO. |

Re: Usa - Security Guard Shot Man Who Pulled Gun
He was doing his job. He's literally there to protect the establishment, it's workers and customers. Someone pulled a gun on him which put everyone in danger so he responded by pulling his firearm and shooting. If someone pulls a gun and is even remotely threatening me with it and I'm armed, I'm pulling my weapon and defending myself. No way I'm going to let him shoot me first.
