That cops life was in danger and he could not allow that car to get on an open road to get up to speed. He had to end it to safe his own life and end the danger to the public. This is a good shoot. He couldn't change his actions any more than the Tourette's kid in school screaming "FUCK BALLS" at assembly. Though even if that kid could help himself I'm sure he would scream "FUCK BALLS" at assembly in a protest of solidarity for African American's around the world.

I'm absolutely certain that if that officer had just utilized some de-escalation techniques this injustice could have been avoided. He merely had to maintain a calm voice and request the young man take him to the pharmacy before the soda jerk leaves for the day.

Instead that WHITE MAN chose to wield a millennia of oppression as an excuse to snuff out the life of an innocent black child who was guilty only of napping and fleeing towards progress.

If he really feared him do you think he would have gotten in the back seat? No. He would have waited for an Indian cab driver instead because he's racist and Indians know the all the shortcuts.

Thanks to generational and systemic racism he had to find a car to sleep in. A car that is honestly owed to him BTW. Whomever's car that was obviously benefitted from their father's father's father's father's father not being PROPERTY.

Those of us who are privileged enough to have father's father's father's father's father that weren't owned by anyone owe it to those who's father's father's father's father's father were owned. The least you can do is take do is take your boot off the neck of that slave's son's son's son's son's son and lend him your car to sleep in. By not doing so you are perpetuating generational racism. But your racism blinds you to that fact.
