Jumped in back seat on someone sleeping. Probably not the best move. Afraid to be with a driver that may get an accident due to the chase thats about to ensue. Decides to shoot him in the back anyways guaranteeing an accident and a hood one at that. Major property damage jeopardizing his own life, occupants in the house and whoever may of been on the street. Dead kid. Cop said "Or I'll shoot" pretty much as he's shooting. Yeah. Lot of bad decisions here.

Wow. The US police just continue to show how absolutely reckless and idiotic cowards they are. How many children did they put at risk?
Why not block his car in first? Why not drag him out the driver's door? Why not take the keys FIRST? The guy was sleeping. They could have easily done any of these things to prevent this fuck from fleeing, but instead they're like:
"lets jump him from behind so he thinks hes getting carjacked and takes off" <- typical braindead US cop mentality.

Actually, they did. They were responding to a call about a stolen car, they found it, saw the suspect sleeping in the car and called for backup.
