Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
I think you need to reassess the stances people of different political affiliations have on police. Hard right tends to either see them as angels from above (common) or satan (less common) depending how libertarian they are. People on the hard left almost entirely demonize the police in every situation no matter what happened, especially if it involves a person of colour getting shot. Yet they depend on the police for protection more than anyone, which is funny. More towards the center, people on the right tend to take it on a case by case basis and so do those on the left of center, although these tend to be the quietest of the bunch so it's hard to know how many of them are out there. Basically, the only people who feel the way you do are either anti-government libertarians who want to protect their own or social justice warriors who have utopian ideals and unrealistic expectations of civil servants. That's if you're political at all, criminals also hate the police from what I've heard.

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
He fired 6 times, not 3. And in what universe are police trained to shoot someone in the fucking hand? That shit doesn't happen in real life. --------- So the arguement here is, the kid who was woken up by the police that tried to detain him while he slept in a stolen car, resisted arrest while armed with a deadly weapon, dragged one officer and kidnapped another who then ordered him to pull over but instead of just complying, he shouts "no!" and ignores the cops warnings. You really dont believe he had enough time to consider the possibility that the totality of his actions could get him shot? Really? And before you say some dumb shit like "bUt tYranTus... hE dIdnT hAvE a dEadLy wEapOn!" Even if there was no gun... the car... the car is a deadly weapon. --------- So you think the moment the car took off, the cop's utterance of the word "shit" sounded like "I'm not going to let you get away, bitch!" to you? BEHOLD! THE DEFINITION OF A REAL MAN A 17 year old father to a 7 month old boy and alleged car thief who runs from the police: You should probably chill on calling other people ignorant. |

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
I just don’t think it was tactically sound to shoot the driver of a moving vehicle when you have no way to control its trajectory. Other than that I would suppose it’s justified. Should’ve headshotted him though I don’t see why he just shot like that or what his point was. There’s no way he was going to stop and let you out in the amount of time you gave him. This shooting was dumb as hell and not even satisfying to watch. No agonal breathing or noises stupid reason to shoot, dumb ass cop planning.. it was just whack.

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
You missed the stolen car part. You also failed to mention the stolen gun. But yea, I’m sure the police didn’t run the plates or VIN first. Again, I’ll ask you, had this young man been a law abiding citizen, would he be alive? Pretty simple |

Re: USA - Fleeing Dude Gets Shot And Killed By Police
You are a special kind of stupid aren't you? Then why is it that the Uber and Lyft drivers who decided to take they passengers for some extra curricular activities always get charged with kidnapping, genius? It doesn't matter if you enter a vehicle by choice as soon as the driver takes you against your will, its kidnapping... |

It's called, "responsibility for one actions"... But if you are taught all your life that you are a victim, you think you deserve to be above the law... It's failure in parenting... |
