I thought the same thing, but my hindsight is only 20/40 because I'm not sure it would have actually worked. One thing that was clear was that she wasn't going to be pulled through by her arms or trunk while that leg was poking through the window. |

I was thinking the same thing. That radiator is a perfect tie-off for a slip knot around mom's ankle. But the girl was only 10 and there may not have been rope in that apartment. Two men's belts probably would have worked. |
