I was actually in Manaus that exact day. Spooky. We spent like four days there and did actually witness a murder, or a guy covered in blood and running with a machete before getting tackled by cops, anyway. Still, we felt safe enough to walk around late at night. I suppose a great majority of these videos from Brazil are gang-related. It's safe for regular people, but not safe for gang members.
