What does that matter, anyway? Legally or illegally obtained, he used it in an illegal manner. Shouldn't THAT be the fucking point? Nah, let's focus on whether he got it legally or not, and completely ignore the actions. Guns and knives aren't the problem. It's the asshole's fucking mental health that's the problem and society's desensitization of unacceptable behavior. Kindergarten skills: If it's not yours, don't touch it. Keep your hands to yourself. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. Clean up after yourself. Take turns and share. Have fun. Seriously, we're taught this stuff early on. And when those very simple, very basic soft skills aren't taught or learned, you get a world full of entitled, self-centered, near-sighted, socially inept dickwads who can't control themselves or contribute anything meaningful to the world. In other words: just be a fuckin' decent human. Life is better that way. |

I heard that in France a few 14 year old schoolkids killed a 23 year old man. No guns involved. He died after the beating. Happened a while ago, but was silenced. Now we have the recoil: the SoS has proposal which orders that pupils have to stand up when a teacher enters the classroom.  No joke. |
