It really seems like it's only a matter of time before someone decides to experiment with this and posts an HD video. With all of the brutal murders going on and the number of them being filmed, it seems inevitable that some exceptionally sick will behead someone swiftly while having an HD camera right in their face the whole time in order to find out.

Personally it looks involuntary to me...hes looking at the ground or the other side of the stump his neck was resting on. Im pretty sure you can see his throat muscles or maybe his tongue muscles moving slightly under his chin. ICK |

Wow intense!! Atleast he got it through quickly! So many of these videos the guys spend ages hacking at the neck, so I guess if you have to go this way fast isn't too bad. Crazy eye movement. It's almost like he doesn't quite realise it then is like "oh crap"  |

Many physicians and doctors throughout history have attempted to study whether your brain is conscience after decapitation and for how long. Perhaps most famously was the study conducted by a Dr. Beaurieux in 1905 of the head of executed criminal Henri Languille. Over the course of 25 to 30 seconds of observation, the physician recorded managing to get Languille to open his eyes and "undeniably" focus them on the doctor's twice by calling the executed man's name.
