Better clenched between his teeth than slowly cutting into his throat, I suppose. It's hard to imagine what your thought process must be at that point when you know that you no longer have hands or a face (the blood and quality makes it hard to tell whether or not he does still have eyes). If he's still thinking about survival instead of "Why won't you fuckers just kill me?!?!" then he really would be a tough bastard. Even if some SWAT-type guys suddenly busted into the room and shot dead all of the gang members, he'd probably still beg them to just shoot him in the head, too.
