It all boils down to self awareness, I don't think by the ripe age of 77 I will ever believe to be capable of doing a three meter sprint in front of a speeding truck coming my way when it is just a few yards distance from me.

Heck I know I wouldn't have been able to do it when I was 18 y.o.!

I AM using ‘women’s logic’! Being female, it’s all I can use. I just tend to be more logical than most men expect women to be.

I still think that woman thought she could run faster than she obviously could, and the truck was going faster than she perceived it to be, causing a sad accident.
Otherwise, why not use the truck in the lane closest to her? Why would she take the chance that she wouldn’t be in the right place at the right moment?
I’m sorry, but I must disagree with you on this one, suicide just doesn’t make sense to me in this situation.
