In the slow motion, Stewart's car didn't jog right until after it hit the guy. I think the body hitting the tire caused Stewart's car to swerve right.

Also, the slow motion was saying "cranberry sauce, I killed Paul".

From what i can tell just by looking at the video, the car does not veer right until he hits the kid. I am no expert on this by no means, however wouldn't you expect the kid to know better than to get out of his car in the first place?

I think everyone saying stewart meant to hit this guy must be basing this on a hatred or dislike of tony stewart because there is no evidence that shows that. Even the police have said that there is none. What IS clear is ward intentionally left his car, and walked into a live race track and was hit and killed.

I read an article from a dude who knows this shit. I don't know these vehicles but he said when the flag waves it's not a simple matter of just putting on the brakes. I guess it takes a good lap or so until it really slows down enough. His take was this dead guy would have known this and he simply should have left his hissy fit pointing exercise for the next lap. I love racing, and his kind of racing is basically one big kind of skidding turn most of the time, I don't understand how anyone except someone who has no clue how this sort of racing works could blame him for this, when you walk out into traffic even they can't stop all the time, now add a near constant in a turn race track on dirt with the driver hardly ever looking right as an expert today on the news said, in a turn and coming out of one like that, he has a very restricted view of his right and is normally looking left and not for anyone coming toward him on the damn track to be a jackass cause he's angry. The man caused his own death, simple as that, and tony is very shaken up because of this, I feel so sorry for him, please know your shit when you talk about it.
