Tony Stewart clearly meant to hit this kid and you can see in the slow motion video how the kid tries running out of the way. Damn shame   |

The guy steps right in front of him pointing his finger, then gets hit by his car. Maybe if he wasn't such a hothead and kept his ass out of the way of racecars going 100+ mph he'd still be alive. Short version: He thinks Stewart wrecked him on purpose, then stands in front of his car on the next lap and gets killed. Idiot. |

I read an article from a dude who knows this shit. I don't know these vehicles but he said when the flag waves it's not a simple matter of just putting on the brakes. I guess it takes a good lap or so until it really slows down enough. His take was this dead guy would have known this and he simply should have left his hissy fit pointing exercise for the next lap. I dunno. Don't care. But it's never safe walking onto a racetrack to shout someone out.
