Three Killed After Motorcycle Crash Whilst Returning From Carnival Party
Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil In the early hours of Tuesday (4), a serious accident left two men and a woman dead and two other people injured in the east of the capital of Amazonas. The three deceased were leaving a Carnival block party, and all were riding the same motorcycle. At a certain point during the journey, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree. The two men died instantly, whilst the woman suffered a caved-in skull and lay in agony on the road until she died. Two other people were hit and injured and were taken to hospital. Their health status was not disclosed. The two men were identified as 27-year-old Douglas S. and 23-year-old Kaio N. The woman, aged 30, has not had her name disclosed. |

Those injuries look super severe. It was no surprise they died. There’s no way you can ever win when it’s you against a tree. What is a surprise is that they found a tree to hit in the first place. According to all the environmentalists out there, there’s meant to be none left in the Amazonas.  |

Our bodies don't fare well especially when hitting objects with more density and crush resistance.. It doesn't help when performed at relatively high speeds with no body armor or protective equipment... And don't ride TRIPLE FFS  |

Is it my imagination or are Brazilian cycle crashes more gruesome than their plane crashes on average? What speed do you need to get that dead, all messed up? Were they slow moving, Chief? |

Well pilgrim, in the airplane you sit tight seatbelt on that your body won't bounce like in motorcycle crashes. Even so I've seen plenty of detached limps and organs after a plane crash. In fact, for each plane crash there's probably like 100 000 motorcycle crashes so you do the math why it looks more gruesome if there's even any aftermath photos of every plane accident.  |
