Seemed like he pushed it way too far and started seizing and just taking in water super fast. I can’t believe how retarded his sister is, she should be held responsible. In what scenario in life are his movements normal? Watching this really pissed me tf off

it's very hard to believe that the woman filming is so incredibly stupid as to not realise he was drowning. I think what could have happened, to give her the benefit of the doubt of this world-record idiocy, is she was paying more attention to her mobile phone, holding the camera and just glancing at him from time to time. She missed the initial spasms and only started paying attention when he was basically dead. All the Chinese I've seen out and about, they are completely glued to their phones. |

Actually no, I take that back. Just watched it again. The camera follows him around each stage of his drowning. God damn, it is just unbelievable how she could watch the guy die and not even realise it. How is she even alive?

It's not uncommon in freediving training to have shallow water black out, this can happen to experienced freedivers. It's called 'samba'
