That's making the assumption that self governed society would function under capitalism which cannot exist without a impoverished group of people since is is based off of he unequal distribution of wealth

I'm not a communist or the like : so this utopia of total equality that you speak , I can't equate . The free market is where my head is geared . It's not perfect but enables the average to have limitless opportunity .
All this distribution of wealth has failed miserably (Europe) . I would much rather be poor and free than poor and equal ; everybody living in communal apartments , holy shit , no thanks .
Having a since of entitlement , is thought in error and is often accompanied by a perverse attitude toward authority and law and order .

Exactly. Ironically, communism has traditionally been accompanied by authoritarianism unlike anything most have ever experienced (such as North Korea, Cuba, and the USSR). At least under capitalism, you can work your way up, and truly work for your place in society. Under communism you work for what everyone has, which takes away any REAL motivation to do better.

well. Im not advocating communism in any way specificly, Im pointing out the results of global capitalism. the only reason third world countries even exist is through the exploitation of western countries.
